Washington Huskies Football: LSU victory on game day: As a lot of you may already know, the college football season is now officially underway. And another opening game that took place last night was the one that saw the Washington Huskies, take on number 11 Louisiana State.

And according to thenewstribune.com, it didn’t quite go the Huskies way, when LSU took a 31-23 victory. After the game, Huskies’ coach Steve Sarkisian said that he was still very proud of his football team and said they had played hard.

Sarkisian said that he was pleased with the performance of quarterback Jake Locker, who completed 25 out of 45 passes for 321 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He certainly seemed to show accuracy in his throws.

Another player that appeared to play well was James Johnson, whose first catch as a Husky was a 17-yard touchdown toss from Jake Locker. But that obviously wasn’t enough for the Huskies, as LSU still managed to win the game. Next >>
