Craig Robinson has a lot on his plate these days aside from being a staple figure on The Office as warehouse foreman Darryl Philbin. He also has several movies lined up for next year, including three comedies and one animated film.

Father of Invention, which is currently in post-production stages, is Robinson first project that’s likely to hit theaters in 2010. The movie also features Kevin Spacey, John Stamos, Heather Graham, Michael Rosenbaum and Johnny Knoxville in a story about an eccentric inventor turned ego maniacal infomercial guru who loses it all when one of his inventions injures thousands of customers, but then tries to redeem his reputation after spending eight years in maximum security prison.

The Office star will next be seen in Hot Tub Time Machine, a comedy about a group of guys who travel back in time to when they were younger cads after drinking Red Bull and vodkas. Also starring John Cusack and Sebastian Stan, Hot Tub Time Machine is expected to hit theaters on March 19, 2010.

After two months, Craig Robinson joins Cameron Diaz, Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy in the animated feature Shrek Forever After, showing on May 21, 2010. And last but not the least, he’ll be appearing alongside Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell, Eva Mendes and Paris Hilton in the action comedy The Other Guys, hitting theaters on August 6, 2010.

Most recently, the 38-year-old comedian garnered good reviewers for lending his voice to Freight Train, father of Cleveland on The Cleveland Brown Show, specifically in the November 22 episode “A Brown Thanksgiving.” On the FOX animated series, his character shook things up as he joined Cleveland while he celebrated his first Thanksgiving with his new family, as well as Cleveland’s mother Cookie and Donna’s Auntie Momma.
